As we gather here today let us pause to acknowledge the Dharawal people, the traditional custodians of this land who have performed age-old ceremonies of storytelling, music, dance, celebration, and renewal here for generations.
Let us acknowledge this living culture and its unique role in the life of Australia today.
Let us acknowledge our elders past, present and future and pay respects to those who have and still do guide us with their wisdom.
